New CLP Guidance published by ECHA July 2017

ECHA has published new versions of some of it guidance concerning Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (the CLP Regulations).

Guidance on labelling and packaging in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 Version 3.0 (July 2017) gives alignment with the 8th Adaptation to Technical Progress (ATP) to the CLP Regulation. It has the addition of a new sub-section 5.4.2 clarifying the issue of packaging used for consolidation of supply packaging during transport and updates for the precautionary statements.

Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria (Guidance to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) of substances and mixtures) Version 5.0 (July 2017) is a partial revision of the Guidance to update the content mainly following the 8th Adaptation to Technical Progress (ATP) to the CLP Regulation and the revision of a few specific additional topics.
